Michael is a cybersecurity professional who specializes in insider threats and social engineering. His work has taken him deep into the world of Fortune 500 companies and across international borders. Before breaking into cybersecurity, he spent 5 years in the world of data science, during which time he wrote a program to detect Russian trolls on Twitter. He holds US and Italian citizenship and speaks English and Italian, and he knows how to ask where the bathrooms are in Russian. He has a BA from Merrimack College where he majored in physics and minored in mathematics, and also studied physics at the University of Trento in Italy.
